Theater Welcome

Theater Tribes!

Welcome to Remote Learning!

This is a huge new educational journey for all of us, and I am confident that you will remain alive, awake, alert, and enthusiastic to continue learning – from home! We won’t be
returning to school until April 20th at the earliest. This means that we will have to unfortunately postpone our plans to perform The Lion King Jr. in May. However, this does not mean we have to stop preparing for it!

We already started our Production Unit, learning all about who’s who in a theater company. We will continue learning about various important roles in production, gathering ideas to implement for our own production of The Lion King Jr., and eventually assigning roles and groups to execute those artistic ideas.

I will post weekly assignments every Monday. Each assignment is due by Friday of that week via PupilPath. Assignments may be broken up into 2 or more parts so it will be very important to pace yourself. Don’t worry, I’ll help you out and send you reminders!

Parents, please feel free to call or text me with any questions or concerns at 347-580-7453 on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 12pm-2pm. You can me email anytime at aliddell@schools.nyc.gov.

I look forward to continuing our learning – remotely, and bringing our creative minds together! You know the vibes!
